Mike Nugent inactive for TNF, giving Josh Brown another week in the fantasy limelight

Dilip Vishwanat

Mike Nugent will miss Thursday night's game, giving Josh Brown his second straight start.

Cincinnati Bengals K Mike Nugent (calf) is officially inactive for Thursday Night Football against the Philadelphia Eagles. Nugent tweaked his calf last week and sat out against the Cowboys. He would have played this week if the game were on a Sunday.

Josh Brown will get the start for a second straight game.

Fantasy Impact: The 33-year-old Brown showed he still has life in his leg, making 4-of-4 field goals and nailing a 52-yarder against Dallas. With Nugent expected to come back next week, Brown is essentially auditioning for a job in 2013.

It's the kicker position and all, so fantasy owners shouldn't be tripping over themselves to grab Brown off the wire, but if you're a Nugent owner, it's worth trotting him out for another week.
