Jermaine Gresham puts in mediocre fantasy night against Eagles

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Jermaine Gresham managed to lead the Bengals in receiving on Thursday night. We break down the fantasy implications.

Jermaine Gresham caught six passes for 63 yards against the Eagles in Week 14. He tied A.J. Green for most receptions on the night and led the Bengals in receiving yardage.

Gresham's nine targets on Thursday night made him the clear-cut No. 2 option for Andy Dalton, finishing just one shy of Green's mark.

Fantasy Impact: It wasn't an amazing night for Gresham, but he did finish with his highest yardage total since Week 11 against the Chiefs. PPR owners can be pleased with 12 points. Standard leagues didn't benefit too much, though.

Gresham might need to be on your bench next week when the Bengals take on the Steelers. He only finished with 19 yards receiving in his last outing against Pittsburgh.
