Mario Manningham doubtful for Sunday, no fantasy value

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mario Manningham is listed as doubtful for the 49ers game against the Patriots. We break down the fantasy implications.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Mario Manningham is listed as doubtful for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots with a shoulder injury. Manningham was limited in practice this week and did not play in the 49ers victory over the Miami Dolphins last week.

Manningham will likely miss his first game against the Patriots since making his famous game clinching reception in Super Bowl XLVI. With the 49ers this season Manningham has 41 receptions for 449 yards with one touchdown in 11 games.

Fantasy Impact: Manningham hasn't been a strong fantasy option at any point this season, although he's produced enough to earn a spot on someone's bench. With his doubtful listing he's not worth holding onto anymore at this point of the season.

With Manningham out, expect Michael Crabtree to continue to be the focal point of the 49ers passing game.
