Calvin Johnson injury update: Still a must-play fantasy option

Jeff Hanisch-USA TODAY Sports

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is probable for Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson is probable for the Lions game against the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday. Johnson was limited in practice all week with a knee injury, but is fully expected to play. Johnson has been dealing with this knee injury for much of the season, but it hasn't slowed him.

Johnson is having a record-breaking season as he is on pace to set the mark for receiving yards in a single season. He has 1,546 yards on 96 receptions through 14 games this season.

Fantasy Impact: With Johnson on record pace and having gone over 100 yards in six straight games there is no reason to even think about not playing him this week. He will get plenty of targets as he remains the Lions' best option on offense by miles.

Expect Johnson to continue with his record-breaking pace on Sunday.
