Andre Roberts is expected to play for the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday against the Detroit Lions. Despite being limited in practice Wednesday and Thursday due to an ankle injury, he was listed as probable after being a full participant in practice Friday.
Roberts is coming off a three-catch, 36-yard performance in the Cardinals' thrashing at the hands of the Seattle Seahawks last week. He had nine receptions for 92 yards in Week 12 against the St. Louis Rams, however.
Fantasy Impact: Roberts is certainly a talented young receiver. Whether he will have anyone capable of getting him the ball is another question. Ryan Lindley and John Skelton have been awful at quarterback for the Cards. While the Lions don't feature an elite secondary, there is no reason to suddenly expect Arizona's passing game to click. Roberts could produce, but the risk isn't worth starting him in most fantasy formats.
