Dez Bryant active: Fantasy value worth the risk

USA TODAY Sports

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is active despite a broken finger. We break down the fantasy implications.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is active for the Cowboys against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. Bryant was limited in practice this week after deciding to delay surgery on his broken left index finger and was listed as questionable, but will try to give it a go.

Bryant has been the Cowboys top offensive option over the past five weeks and Dallas hopes his injured finger does not slow him down.

Fantasy Impact: Bryant has caught seven touchdowns over the last five weeks, but it is unknown how involved he will be in the Cowboys' game plan against the Steelers. A finger injury can be easily aggravated for a wide receiver at any time.

Bryant will surely get some targets, and is a strong WR2 option, but he is a risk. He could have a big game, or be kept quiet.
