Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had one of his best performances of the season against the Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan had a great day as the Falcons beat the New York Giants on Sunday. Ryan went 23-for-28 with 270 yards passing and three touchdowns in a 34-0 shutout. The Falcons offensive line deserves some credit, as Ryan was only sacked once by the highly-praised Giants defensive front.
Ryan threw his first score to Tony Gonzalez in the first quarter and found Julio Jones twice in the end zone in the second half. Ryan also connected with Harry Douglas three times for 83 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Sunday marked Ryan's sixth three touchdown game of the season, but his first since Nov. 18. Both Ryan and the Falcons offense had come under some fire lately, but proved themselves on Sunday.
Ryan picked a great time to get back on track for fantasy owners. Expect a strong performance from him in Week 16 against the Detroit Lions.
