New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning did not throw any touchdowns and was held under 200 yards. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was stifled by the Falcons defense as the Giants were shut out 34-0. Manning went 13-for-25 with 161 yards, no touchdowns, and two interceptions.
Manning had put up big numbers in two of the past three weeks since coming off bye, but regressed on Sunday. This was his fourth game of the season without throwing a touchdown pass.
Fantasy Impact: Manning picked a terrible week to have a stinker for fantasy owners. In the weeks leading up to New York's bye, Manning and the Giants offense stalled out as the QB had three straight games without a touchdown pass.
The hope is that Sunday's game against the Falcons was an isolated performance, and not a return to the mid-season slump. Manning hopes to get back to his winning ways against the Ravens next week.
