Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner ran for 50 yards and a touchdown against the Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.
Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner found the end zone early in the Falcons 34-0 shut out of the New York Giants. Turner ended the day with 16 carries for 52 yards with a score and one reception for nine yards.
The 16 carries for Turner is the most he's had since Nov. 4. The big lead for Atlanta may have led them to run the ball more frequently than they typically would.
Fantasy Impact: Turner has now run for a touchdown in five straight games and six of the Falcons' last seven contests. As Turner's yardage has gone down this season, his touchdowns are even more important to his fantasy value.
Turner will remain the Falcons goal-line back and stands a good chance of scoring every week.
