Victor Cruz lays an egg for fantasy owners

Daniel Shirey-USA TODAY Sports

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was limited to three receptions for 15 yards against the Falcons. We break down the fantasy implications.

New York Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz had his worst game of the season against in a 34-0 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. Cruz was limited to three receptions for 15 yards as the Giants offense couldn't get anything going all day.

None of the Giants had strong statistical days, but Cruz, who had 76 receptions for 1,004 yards and nine touchdowns entering the game, was particularly disappointing.

Fantasy Impact: Cruz had back-to-back 100 yard games prior to playing the Falcons. Fantasy owners and Giants fans have to hope that this week was an isolated incident and that Cruz can bounce back next week.

Cruz has been putting up numbers all season, so leave him in your lineup next week against the Ravens if you are still alive in your fantasy league.
