New York Giants running back David Wilson was limited as the Giants struggled to produce any offense against the Atlanta Falcons. We break down the fantasy implications.
New York Giants running back David Wilson was limited, as was the entire Giants offense as they were shut out 34-0 by the Atlanta Falcons. Wilson had 12 carries for 55 yards and one reception for 11 yards.
Wilson started in place of the injured Ahmad Bradshaw, but was unable to replicate his 100-yard, two touchdown rushing performance from last week against the Saints.
Fantasy Impact: This was a disappointing game for owners who expected Wilson to excel in a starter's role, but then again everyone on the Giants was disappointing on Sunday. Wilson did manage a decent yards per carry, but the Giants got behind big early and had to abandon the running game.
The Giants offense can't play this badly next week against the Ravens. If Bradshaw is still out and Wilson is the starter, he is worth playing.
