Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells has run for three touchdowns against the Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells rushed for three touchdowns as the Cardinals embarrassed the Detroit Lions. Wells had 17 carries for 67 yards with three touchdowns as the Cardinals won 38-10.

Wells has struggled through an injury plagued season, averaging only 2.4 yards per carry entering Sunday's game, but was able to take advantage of a game full of Lions turnovers to punch in three touchdowns. Wells ran for two touchdowns in the second quarter and broke off a 31-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.

Fantasy Impact: Wells is rewarding any owners who have stuck with him during this important week of the fantasy playoffs. There wasn't a lot of reason to trust him coming into this game, but he performed better than anyone could have expected.

Just don't count on a repeat performance against the Bears next week.
