Vick Ballard proved he could be the Colts feature back on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Vick Ballard rushed for 105 yards on 18 carries against the Texans on Sunday. He averaged 5.8 yards per carry as he ran for a career-high in Week 15.
The Texans ranked third against the run coming into this week, so Ballard clearly made a case to be the workhorse in the Colts backfield.
Fantasy Impact: Mewelde Moore received four carries, managing six yards and a goal line fumble. It's clear he isn't gaining any ground on Ballard right now. The rookie running back seems to be coming into his own down the stretch.
The Colts face the Chiefs next week. Ballard will be worth starting against one of the league's worst run defenses.
