Brent Celek looks like he will play for fantasy owners in Week 16

Rich Schultz

Brent Celek is back at practice for the Eagles. We break down the fantasy implications.

After missing the past Sunday's game with a concussion, Brent Celek appears to be on track to play against the Redskins in Week 16. Celek participated in 10-on-10 drills Monday, which bodes well for his chances of making a return on Sunday.

Even if he does play, Celek's production hasn't been very consistent with Nick Foles under quarterback.

Fantasy Impact: When he suits up, Celek is a low-end option at tight end. Foles' production has been up and down (mainly down), and you shouldn't be banking on a huge performance from either player this late in the fantasy playoffs.

Check on Celek's status closer to the weekend, but don't invest much stock in his value.
