Doug Martin 'establishing that new culture': Fantasy Implications

USA TODAY Sports

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin was praised this week by his head coach, Greg Schiano. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and head coach Greg Schiano have no plans to limit running back Doug Martin, via Tampa Bay Times. Martin has been the feature back for the Bucs in his first year, edging out LaGarrette Blount for the starting job almost immediately

Martin has shown his worth and the staff has responded by showing their faith in him. They have no plans to limit him in the final two games, including Week 16 versus the St. Louis Rams.

Fantasy Analysis: Martin has become a nice mid-to-late-round pickup for fantasy owners. He has been incredibly productive, earning a ton of a touches this season as a rookie.

Even though the team is eliminated from playoff contention in a tough NFC conference, they will continue to lean on Martin. Start the Bucs' feature back as a sure-fire RB1 this week.
