Aaron Hernandez limited in practice, no change to fantasy value

Jim Rogash

New England Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez was limited on Wednesday. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was limited in Wednesday's practice, via ESPN Boston. The Patriots' pass-catching tight end landed on the team's injury report with an ankle.

However, there is nothing to see here. It's the same old tactics by Bill Belichick, limiting his stars and making his upcoming opponent over-think.

Fantasy Analysis: Hernandez was hearing footsteps last week against the 49ers and had an uncharacteristic performance. After a so-so performance for fantasy owners in Week 15, Hernandez should look to bounce back big this week against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Consider Hernandez to be a top-end TE1 for the fantasy finals. He should have multiple opportunities to burn this lousy Jacksonville defense and rack up points for fantasy owners.
