Mohamed Sanu injury update: Fantasy value zero with 'out' status

John Grieshop

Mohamed Sanu has been ruled out of this week's game, decreasing his short term fantasy value.

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Mohamed Sanu is officially listed as out on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers.

Sanu injured his foot in last week's game against the Oakland Raiders and did not practice all week. He will not play on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Mohamed Sanu had been heating up in recent weeks for the Bengals. All four of his receiving touchdowns this season have come in the last four games.

Unfortunately, injury struck at an inopportune time for Sanu. The Bengals are getting Andrew Hawkins back from injury this week, and the wide receiver depth chart figures to get crowded in the coming weeks. With the fantasy playoffs around the corner, Sanu's fantasy value is in limbo.
