Darren McFadden injury update: Fantasy value improves with questionable status

Ezra Shaw

Darren McFadden is set to make his return to the Raiders' lineup in Week 13, but should he return to your fantasy lineups?

Oakland Raiders running back Darren McFadden is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns.

McFadden is dealing with a high ankle sprain that he suffered against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 9. McFadden has missed his team's last three games. He was limited in practice all week and is expected to be available for the Raiders on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Darren McFadden has been a pretty big disappointment for his fantasy owners, most of which invested a first round pick in the running back. He has only totaled 455 rushing yards and two touchdowns this season to go with 190 receiving yards.

If healthy, McFadden should be able to make an impact on Sunday, though it's unclear how much of a workload he will get. Marcel Reece has been outstanding in McFadden's absence. McFadden is just a No. 2 running back at best this week.
