Felix Jones Injury Update: Fantasy value on its way down

Matthew Emmons-US PRESSWIRE

Felix Jones is questionable for Sunday Night Football. Should you even bother owning him?

Felix Jones (knee) was a limited participant on Thursday and Friday after not practicing on Wednesday. He is listed as questionable and is expected to play against the Eagles.

Jones was handed an opportunity to take over as the starter with DeMarco Murray on the mend, but he squandered it with just a 3.6 yards-per-carry average on the season. His season totals aren't terrible though with five TDs and 597 yards from scrimmage.

Fantasy Impact: It's pretty simple on Felix Jones: DeMarco Murray is expected to return from his foot injury, so Jones' fantasy value goes by the wayside. It's unclear how much Murray is going to play, but with the way the Cowboys tend to air it out, any sort of timeshare would put the kibosh on Felix.

Owners can feel free to cut Felix in 10-team leagues, but he still has some handcuff appeal in deeper leagues.
