Steven Jackson Injury Update: Probable in a tough fantasy matchup

Christian Petersen

Steven Jackson is ready to go against the 49ers. Should you start him?

Steven Jackson (foot) was out of practice on Wednesday, was limited on Thursday and then was a full participant on Friday. He is listed as probable and is expected to start.

S-Jax hasn't been able to put up numbers this year. While he's been "injury prone" according to some, he's been fairly healthy. He has 724 rushing yards, 129 receiving yards and just two TDs. this year.

Fantasy Impact: The foot injury is not a concern and Jackson hasn't been able to really get anything going this year. The Rams haven't been totally abysmal on offense. He is getting some carries, but it's very unlikely he'll be able to rack up the yards on Sunday.

Daryl Richardson serves as S-Jax's handcuff, but he's not really worth starting this week. Jackson is more of a flex play with lower upside at home.
