US PRESSWIRE

Stewart it out as expected, how will Carolina choose to spread the ball around? We break down the fantasy implications.

Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (ankle) is officially inactive for the team's Week 13 matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs. Speculation has been that Stewart would indeed miss the game, but that word is now official.

Stewart has already missed two games this year and has rushed for 336 yards and one touchdown as the Panthers have struggled to get anyone going on the ground. DeAngelo Williams will be the main back.

Fantasy Take: The Carolina mess is usually one to avoid but Williams should be a good bet to carry the ball 10-15 times and possibly find a score or two. Mike Tolbert is still a non-factor while Cam Newton could vulture a score.
