Julian Edelman is active for Sunday's game between the Patriots and the Dolphins despite suffering an apparent concussion on Thanksgiving. We break down the fantasy implications.
Julian Edelman has been marked active for Sunday's game between the New England Patriots and the Miami Dolphins. Edelman suffered a concussion during the Pats' Thanksgiving win over the New York Jets, and was listed as questionable Friday after being limited in practice.
Edelman has caught touchdowns in consecutive games, and was on his way to a potentially enormous outing against the Jets before leaving the game. He had two receptions for 64 yards and a score off three targets within just 14 snaps played.
Fantasy Impact: Edelman is a potential sleeper pick this week, going up against a Dolphins secondary that gives up 262 yards passing per game. Don't forget that people were worried he was going to take over Wes Welker's role in the offense early in the season before he hit a spate of injuries. If you're desperate for a fantasy boost, Edelman could be worth the risk as a WR3 or Flex play this week.
