Still not talking about the incident that sparked his benching, Young will not play on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Titus Young is inactive in Week 13, marking a second straight game missed for the second-year pro. Young was scratched last week for a non-injury related issue and just returned to practice on Wednesday, though he was not telling reporters what happened to start this chain of events.
Young broke out in Week 7 against the Seahawks with nine catches for 100 yards and two touchdowns but had just 79 yards in the subsequent three games. He will now continue to sit for an indeterminate amount of time with continued speculation that he could be on his way out of Detroit.
Fantasy Take: The better that Ryan Broyles plays, coming off of 126 yards against the Texans, the likelier it is that Jim Schwartz won't feel a need to take Young out of the doghouse. His inactive status shouldn't harm Matthew Stafford's value at all either. There's a good chance that Stafford, Broyles and Calvin Johnson have nice games against the Colts.
