Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had a huge day on the ground, rushing for over 200 yards. We break down the fantasy implications.
Adrian Peterson provided all of the offense for the Minnesota Vikings today, but it wasn't enough as they lost to the Green Bay Packers, 23-14. Peterson had 21 carries for 210 yards and a touchdown; he also added two receptions for 10 yards.
Peterson scored on an 82-yard run in the second quarter, the longest run of his career. Peterson rushed for 210 yards, while Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder only threw for 119 yards.
Fantasy Impact: Peterson is an absolute monster. This is his sixth straight game with over 100 yards rushing as Peterson continues his impressive season after undergoing offseason knee surgery.
Obviously if you have Adrian Peterson you are starting him every week and are incredibly happy with how he has been performing. If Peterson continues at his current pace he will have his best ever season in terms of yards rushing.
