The legendary receiver can't do anything with the Cards' miserable QB situation. We break down the fantasy implications.
Arizona Cardinals WR Larry Fitzgerald had yet another quiet day in Week 13. Against the New York Jets, Fitz had just one catch for 23 yards. Fitz was targeted seven times, but Ryan Lindley was absolutely miserable (10-of-31, 72 yards) and routinely overthrew his receivers.
The Cards went on to lose 7-6 in one of the worst games of the season.
Fantasy Impact: Pity Fitz, as he's been one of the biggest fantasy disappointments of the season, and almost none of it is his fault. The Cardinals' abysmal QB situation and O-line play have tanked the entire season.
As talented as Fitz is, I can't recommend starting him anymore. You need more reliable options in the fantasy playoffs.
