US PRESSWIRE
Green Bay Packers running back James Starks found the end zone for the first time this season. We break down the fantasy implications.
Green Bay Packers running back James Starks scored his first touchdown of the season in the Packers 23-14 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Starks ran 15 times for 66 yards and a touchdown, he also had two receptions for 16 yards.
Starks scored on a 22 yard run in the third quarter. It was his first touchdown since Sept. 8, 2011.
Fantasy Impact: Starks had not been much of a fantasy factor this season, but he showed today that he might have some value going forward. The Packers rushed 36 times against the Vikings on Sunday.
It is unlikely that Starks will be a consistent fantasy starter, but he has shown that with the right matchup he can be a factor when needed.
