Russell Wilson had an inspiring performance in Seattle's comeback win over the Bears. We break down the fantasy implications.
Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson had a coming-out party against the Bears in Week 13. On the road in a hostile environment, Wilson completed 23-of-37 passes for 293 yards and two TDs, and added 71 yards on nine scrambles.
Wilson had perhaps his best performance of the season, leading the Seahawks to a 23-17 overtime win.
Fantasy Impact: You would never know Wilson was a rookie watching him pick apart the stiff Bears defense. He engineered a brilliant 97-yard drive to take the lead late in the fourth quarter, and led the game-winning drive in OT.
Wilson is quietly emerging as a quality QB2 in fantasy as the coaches are taking the training wheels off. He's a nice fantasy option down the stretch with the Seahawks making a playoff run.
