Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has thrown for 100 yards and a touchdown in the first half.
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is off to a solid start as the Broncos trail the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 10-7 at the half. In the first half, Manning went 11-for-15 with 108 yards passing and a touchdown.
Manning hit Mitch Unrein with a one yard touchdown pass early in the first quarter and the Broncos have failed to score since then. Manning's favorite target on the day has been Demaryius Thomas, who has three receptions for 55 yards.
Manning has often gotten off to slow starts this year and come on strong in the second half. He'll need to do more than double his first half yardage to avoid a season low in yards passing. Manning has thrown for multiple touchdowns in nine of eleven games this season and will need to throw for a score in the second half to make it 10 on the season.
As Manning averages over 37 passes per game expect him to air it out a few more times in the second half.
