Arian Foster held in check, but finds end zone for fantasy owners

Andy Lyons

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster was unable to get going on the ground, but did manage to find the end zone. We break down the fantasy implications.

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster was held in check by the Tennessee Titans, but still managed to make a fantasy impact in the Texans 24-10 win. Foster ran 14 times for 38 yards and a touchdown and caught five passes for 15 yards.

Foster ran it in from two yards out in the second quarter, but was outperformed by Justin Forsett on the ground, who carried the ball 14 times for 64 yards.

Fantasy Impact: Despite being held to 2.7 yards per carry, Foster still had a solid day, and a good day in PPR leagues. Foster now has 15 touchdowns in 12 games this season.

Foster has had some inefficient games before, but has always bounced back strong. The Texans will need him to have a good game next week in New England.
