Golden Tate scores again and is emerging as nice fantasy option

US PRESSWIRE

Golden Tate scored his sixth touchdown of the year in a wild win over the Bears. We break down the fantasy implications.

Seattle Seahawks WR Golden Tate continues his late-season hot streak. Against the Chicago Bears in Week 13, Tate hauled in five catches for 96 yards and one touchdown. His score came in the most dramatic moment of the game, when he shifted and scampered 14 yards for the game-leading score late in the fourth quarter.

The Seahawks went on to win the game 23-17 in overtime.

Fantasy Impact: As Russell Wilson develops, so does Tate. The two have really clicked in recent weeks, as Tate has four touchdowns in four weeks. He continues to flash his YAC skills and is a legitimate game-planning threat.

Tate is still too "boom or bust" to trust throughout the fantasy playoffs, but he has a nice matchup against the imploding Cardinals in Week 14. Start him as a WR3.
