Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub threw for 200 yards and two touchdowns. We beak down the fantasy implications.
Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub put forth an average fantasy performance in the Texans 24-10 win over the Tennessee Titans. Schaub went 21-for-35 with 207 yards passing and two touchdowns.
Schaub threw both of his touchdown passes in the first quarter to uncommon targets. First hitting Lestar Jean for a 54-yard touchdown and later finding James Casey for five yards.
Fantasy Impact: Schaub is never going to be a consistent fantasy stud, this type of performance is what is expected from him. He showed against Jacksonville in Week 11 that he is capable of winning games by himself, but that is not his role in fantasy.
Schaub remains a strong mid-tier fantasy quarterback option. He will need to score next week against the Patriots.
