Calvin Johnson injury: More limited practice Thursday, fantasy value not in jeopardy

USA TODAY Sports

Jerry Rice's record is still in jeopardy, despite an ailment for Megatron. We break down the fantasy implications.

Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson (knee) was limited in practice for the second straight day on Thursday. Johnson has had limited practices all season long but has yet to miss a game, or be in danger of missing a game. He will continue his historical season on Saturday against the Atlanta Falcons in Detroit.

Johnson has 106 catches for 1,667 yards and five touchdowns this year, putting him well within reach of Jerry Rice's single-season record.

Fantasy Take: Limited practices have become par for the course for Megatron and it has not stopped him from being the best and most productive receiver in the NFL. He got you to the fantasy championship and he should be a fine play this week too.
