The Oakland Raiders plan on getting QB Terrelle Pryor more game time snaps, according to the Contra Costa Times. Pryor will be used in some third down and red zone plays against the Carolina Panthers in Week 16.
Pryor has been holding a clipboard all season, but he finally got his first game action against the Chiefs last season. He played one series, with two handoffs and an incomplete pass.
Fantasy Impact: With Oakland's season in the tank, it was only a matter of time before they gave their young athletic QB more looks.
Pryor isn't in danger of replacing Carson Palmer any time soon, but Palmer does have a tough matchup against an improved Panthers defense. He's not a recommended start in the fantasy championships.
