Steven Jackson returns to practice, but has tough fantasy matchup against Tampa Bay

USA TODAY Sports

Steven Jackson returned to a limited practice, but still might not be a safe play against a stout Buccaneers run defense.

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson returned to a limited practice on Friday after missing practice earlier this week with an illness, according to Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Jackson is officially listed as questionable on the team's injury report, according to Thomas.

Fantasy Impact: Steven Jackson has come on strong in the second half of the season, but he is feeling under the weather this week, which doesn't bode well. Fantasy owners have likely been leaning on Jackson as a second running back, but may not be able to on championship Sunday.

With a tough matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it may be wise to find a better option at running back this week.
