Jason Avant injury update: Fantasy value stable with probable status

Jim McIsaac

Jason Avant has one last chance to prove his worth to fantasy owners in Week 16.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Jason Avant is officially listed as probable on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

Avant is dealing with a hamstring injury. He managed to practice in full late in the week, though, and should be able to suit up when his team takes the field on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Jason Avant hasn't been much of a fantasy producer this season. He has only 539 yards this season and hasn't scored a touchdown. The Eagles' insecure quarterback situation hasn't helped matters.

Against Washington's weak secondary, though, Avant could be worth a flier in deeper leagues. In standard leagues, you can find a better option for the fantasy football championship.
