Brent Celek injury update: Fantasy value improves with probable status

Jim McIsaac

Brent Celek has a good chance to play in the fantasy football season finale.

Philadelphia Eagles tight end Brent Celek is officially listed as probable on the team's injury report for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins.

Celek is dealing with a concussion. He's been cleared for contact and practiced in full all week. He should be able to play on Sunday.

Fantasy Impact: Brent Celek was a serviceable fantasy football tight end prior to his injury and Philadelphia's quarterback issues. On the season, Celek has 51 catches for 602 yards and one touchdown.

The Eagles' passing game has a solid matchup against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, so Celek could be in line for a decent day. He's worth a look if you're in need of a tight end for fantasy football championship.
