Doug Martin will carry the load in Week 16, fantasy impact player as a rookie

USA TODAY Sports

Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Doug Martin will continue to carry the load in Week 16. We breakdown the fantasy implications.

With two games remaining in the regular season, Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin will continue to shoulder the brunt of the work. He has stepped in as a rookie and carried the load for the Bucs offense.

He has been an all-purpose threat for the team, and a good one at that. He should get his touches in Week 16 when the Buccaneers face the Rams.

Fantasy Analysis: Doug Martin has been a real impact player in his first year in the league, which is no easy task. Even though the Bucs are out of contention, they will continue to fight hard, and Martin will have his featured role in the offense.

With the Rams on the schedule in Week 16, owners should stick with Martin.
