Howard Smith-US PRESSWIRE

Despite practicing Friday, Stewart is out and Williams starts against the Raiders. We break down the fantasy implications.

Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (ankle) is inactive on Sunday, leaving DeAngelo Williams to handle the carries against the Oakland Raiders. Stewart will miss his fourth straight game with the injury.

Williams is coming off of his most productive game of the season, rushing for 93 yards and catching two passes for 51 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers. Cam Newton remains the leading rushing for Carolina, rushing for 647 yards and seven touchdowns this year.

Fantasy Take: The Raiders' defense is not good, Williams could be one of those surprise late-season players that helps a team win a fantasy championship and he has a great matchup in Week 16. Williams is a solid RB2 on Sunday.
