A broken forearm keeps Gronkowski out another week. We break down the fantasy implications.
New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm) is inactive in Week 16 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. It will be the fifth straight missed game for Gronkowski after suffering the injury late against the Indianapolis Colts, a game in which he gained 137 yards and two touchdowns.
Fellow tight end Aaron Hernandez was injured early in the year but has returned and taken over the main duties at the position. Hernandez has been much more productive lately with Gronkowski out, gaining 247 yards and three touchdowns over his last three games.
Fantasy Take: No lucky surprise for Gronkowski owners, but a great day for Hernandez owners. Start Hernandez, as you would have anyway, but maybe expect a few extra points.
