Washington Redskins rookie running back Alfred Morris continues to produce at a high level. We break down the fantasy implications.
Washington Redskins running back Alfred Morris started slow, but had a strong second half that helped the Redskins beat the Philadelphia Eagles, 27-20. Morris had 22 carries for 91 yards with a touchdown and added one 17-yard reception as well.
Morris only had 18 yards in the first half but opened it up in the second half, including a 10-yard touchdown run on the first drive of the third quarter. Morris now has 1,413 yards on the season. He is only 103 yards away from the best single-season yardage total in franchise history, set by Clinton Portis.
Fantasy Impact: Morris had a great fantasy season and really came through in the fantasy playoffs with four touchdowns in the last three weeks. If you have a fantasy matchup in Week 17, keep Morris in your lineup.
After being named a surprise starter for the Redskins, Morris was probably the fantasy sleeper of the season this year.
