Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is off to a strong start against the New York Giants. We break down the fantasy implications.
Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco is off to a hot start against the New York Giants. Flacco is 10-for-15 with 134 yards and a touchdown; he also ran in a score from a yard out as the Ravens lead the Giants 17-7.
Flacco hit Torrey Smith with a six yard score in the first quarter and ran it in himself shortly afterwards. Flacco looked to have completed another TD to Jacoby Jones in the second quarter, but the call was reversed and the Ravens had to settle for a field goal.
Fantasy Impact: Flacco has struggled in recent weeks as the Ravens have gone on a three game losing streak, but seems to be playing better against the Giants. Fantasy owners hope he can continue coming through during championship week.
The Ravens need this win to clinch the AFC North, so expect them to stay aggressive in the second half.
