Cam Newton tossed a TD pass and ran for another as the Panthers won their third straight game.
Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton didn't have the prettiest stat line in Week 16, but it was enough to win. Against the Oakland Raiders, Newton completed 18-of-29 passes for 170 yards, one touchdown and one interception. He also rushed 12 times for 60 yards and an extra touchdown.
The Panthers won 17-6 to extend their winning streak to three games.
Fantasy Impact: Newton has been one of the hottest QBs in the past month, and rewarded fantasy owners patient enough to stick with him after an early-season slump.
Newton will close out an up-and-down season with his second straight 4,000-yard year. He'll once again be a hot commodity when fantasy drafts start up next August.
