Darren McFadden ends fantasy season with a whimper

Darren McFadden couldn't get anything going in a crushing loss. Story of his season, really.

Oakland Raiders RB Darren McFadden had yet another brutal game. Against the Carolina Panthers, McFadden rushed 17 times for just 33 yards and a miserable 1.9 YPC. He added 15 yards on three catches.

When Carson Palmer got knocked out with a rib injury, the Raiders had no prayer with Matt Leinart under center. They managed only 189 total yards in a 17-6 loss.

Fantasy Impact: Seems like an appropriate end for one of the biggest fantasy duds of the year. Taken in the first round in many formats, DMC battled yet more injuries and complete ineffectiveness in Greg Knapp's zone-blocking scheme.

It's safe to say that DMC won't be drafted in the first round again next season.
