Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones built on his NFL lead with another receiving touchdown against the Titans. We break down the fantasy implications.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones added to his league-leading receiving touchdowns total in the Packers 55-7 rout of the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Jones caught seven passes for 100 yards and a score.
Jones scored on a 12-yard reception early in the fourth quarter and now has 13 touchdown receptions on the season. This was the first time this season that Jones had 100 yard receiving.
Fantasy Impact: Jones has been hit and miss this season with his high touchdown total and comparatively low yardage total, but he brought a complete game to the table in fantasy championship week. He led all the Packers in receiving yardage, but Randall Cobb and Greg Jennings both had touchdowns as well.
Between Jones, Cobb, Jennings, and Jordy Nelson (and tight end Jermichael Finley) the Packers have a ton of receiving options. Someone can shine or be shut down in any given week, but Jones has done well to lead the league in touchdowns.
