Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings had his best game of the season on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings caught his first touchdown since returning to the Packers after midseason surgery on Sunday. Jennings caught seven passes for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Packers 55-7 clobbering of the Tennessee Titans.
Jennings missed a large chunk of this season due to a groin injury that required surgery and he hasn't produced at his usual level since returning to the field on Dec. 2. His 45 yard, one touchdown performance against the Titans marks his best game of the season.
Fantasy Impact: Jennings picked a good time to come alive for fantasy owners who stuck with him this season. He had been outperformed much of the season by Jordy Nelson, James Jones, and Randall Cobb, but finally came through in fantasy championship week.
Jennings is a free agent at the end of the season and with so many other receivers on the Packers roster it is possible he won't be back in Green Bay next year.
