St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson ran for 80 yards and a score against the Bucs. We break down the fantasy implications.
St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson had a strong performance and helped lift the Rams to a 28-13 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jackson ran for 81 yards and a touchdown on 19 carries; he also caught one pass for a loss of four yards.
Jackson scored on a 5-yard run right before halftime for his fourth touchdown of the season. His 81 yards puts him at 990 on the season and he is only 10 yards away from his eighth straight 1,000 yard season with St. Louis.
Fantasy Impact: Jackson is not the fantasy wrecking ball he once was, but he can still get it done and proved that again on Sunday when it mattered most, fantasy championship week.
Jackson only has four touchdowns on the season, but with two in the last three weeks, is getting them when they are their most valuable for fantasy owners.
