Marques Colston puts up huge fantasy numbers in Week 16

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Marques Colston tied a season-high for receiving yards on Sunday. We break down the fantasy implications.

Marques Colston caught 10 passes for 153 yards on a team-high 13 targets in Week 16 against the Cowboys. He tied a season-high mark for receiving yards in his huge outing in Dallas.

Colston still hasn't scored in four weeks now, but his performance was a huge improvement from recent games.

Fantasy Impact: The last two weeks were rather disappointing for Colston, so it's understandable if you doubted him coming into the weekend. He stepped up, though, for owners in the championship, tearing apart the Cowboys secondary.

If your fantasy championship takes place next week, Colston still isn't a must-start in any league. His last outing against Carolina produced just three receptions for 49 yards.
