Ryan Fitzpatrick is not a smart fantasy play

Mike Ehrmann

The Bills offense continues to struggle with Ryan Fitzpatrick under center. We break down the fantasy implications.

Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 20 of 35 passes for 240 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 16 against the Dolphins. He now has just three scores and four picks over the last three games.

Mark Gaughan of The Buffalo News believes Fitzpatrick will either be cut or see his contract restructured after his poor performance in 2012.

Fantasy Impact: When beat writers start talking about you failing to receive the rest of your contract, it's probably a good indication of how things are going. The Bills are now 5-10, and could be looking to replace Fitzpatrick in the offseason.

Regardless of the speculation about his future, you shouldn't be starting Fitzpatrick in your lineup for the fantasy championships.
