Richard Sherman is expected to get a final decision of his appeal on Thursday. We break down the fantasy implications.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that Seattle Seahawks CB Richard Sherman is expected to get a decision on his appeal by Thursday. Sherman is fighting a four-game PED suspension, and is claiming that his sample was tainted.
If his suspension holds up, Sherman will be forced to sit out Week 17 and most of the playoffs.
Fantasy Impact: This news has been kicking around long enough that the Seahawks should be well-prepared to deal with losing their shutdown corner. They will also get Brandon Browner back in time for the Wild Card round, though injuries to Marcus Trufant and Walter Thurmond are hurting their depth.
Assuming Sherman's suspension starts this week, that's obviously good news for Danny Amendola and Brandon Gibson.
