Jordy Nelson is hopeful that he won't miss a fourth straight game to close out the season.
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson is slowly getting back to full strength.
Nelson has been dealing with a hamstring injury. Packers coach Mike McCarthy is hopeful that Nelson will be able to play in the team's Week 17 game against the Minnesota Vikings, according to Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. McCarthy added that Nelson thinks he is very close to returning.
Fantasy Impact: Those fantasy owners that saved their fantasy championships for Week 17 may have the services of Jordy Nelson. His season has been derailed by various injuries, most recently this one to his hamstring. Helson has missed the last three games with his injury.
Nelson's status will become more clear as the team begins practice this week.
